Welcome Home Skagit’s Seasonal Night Shelter provides adults experiencing homelessness with a safe, warm place to sleep during the colder months. The shelter typically operates between November and March, with exact opening and closing dates announced before each season.
The Welcome Home Skagit Day Shelter is the sign-up location for the Seasonal Night Shelter. Space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Sign-up is between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Guests receive a protected indoor place to sleep during the cold-weather season, reducing the risks of exposure, illness, injury, and other dangers associated with sleeping outside.
An evening meal is provided so guests can settle in for the night with access to nutritious food in a welcoming environment.
Transportation is provided between the Day Shelter and the Seasonal Night Shelter, helping guests safely access the overnight program and return to daytime services in the morning.
Guests can access the Day Shelter for meals, showers, laundry, hygiene supplies, phones, computers, and other essential resources during operating hours.
Staff can connect guests with care coordination, housing resources, Coordinated Entry, employment assistance, benefits, medical care, behavioral health services, and other community supports.
The shelter offers a welcoming, trauma-informed environment where guests are treated with dignity, compassion, and respect while working toward greater safety and housing stability.
