This shelter shows compassion; you can tell they genuinely want to help people

Welcome Home Skagit’s 2024–2025 Impact Report highlights the organization’s growing reach and the meaningful support provided to individuals experiencing homelessness throughout Skagit County. Through shelter, safe parking, care coordination, employment support, and housing-focused services, Welcome Home Skagit helped hundreds of people access safety, stability, essential resources, and pathways toward permanent housing.

Welcome Home Skagit’s 2023–2024 Impact Report highlights the organization’s growing response to homelessness through its Drop-In Center, Overnight Safe Parking, emergency shelter, vocational services, and planned transitional housing. With strong community partnerships, these programs provided safety, essential resources, meaningful connections, and pathways toward employment, recovery, and permanent housing.

Our second newsletter pre-covid and the last one until present. These two newsletters show who Welcome Home Skagit was before our community and organization was turned upside down due to the pandemic that has had such an enormous and negative impact on our community. The good news is that Welcome Home Skagit has survived and we are happy to announce that we will be sharing more in an upcoming newsletter.
