Welcome Home Skagit’s Overnight Safe Parking Program provides people living in their vehicles with a safe, managed place to park and sleep overnight. The program is designed to offer greater safety and stability while participants work toward employment, housing, and other long-term goals.
The program rotates every two weeks among five partner church locations in Mount Vernon. Safe Parking sites are not open to the public, and site addresses are shared only with enrolled program participants to protect the safety, privacy, and security of participants and our community partners.
Enrollment is required, and space is limited. To request placement on the Safe Parking waitlist, contact the Welcome Home Skagit Day Shelter front desk by phone or visit us in person.
